Okumgba Congratulates Amaechi, Underscores Determination As Prerequisite For Success

As goodwill messages continue to pour in for Nigeria’s former Transportation Minister and erstwhile APC presidential aspirant, Rotimi Amaechi, over successful completion of his Law degree programme, the South-South APC Zonal Publicity Secretary, David Okumgba, has joined the growing list of well-wishers felicitating the former minister on adding a new degree to his educational credentials.

Amaechi, a former Rivers State governor, has sucessfully concluded his second undergradute degree, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), from Baze University in Abuja.

In reaction to this development, the party scribe praised Rt. Hon. Amaechi for always making the APC proud, stressing that determination is a must-have for anyone who has set out to achieve a goal.

He disclosed that the former minister’s readiness to better himself, unblinking eye on the ball and a fierce determination to triumph are factors that makes him an extraordinary achiever.

“What brought Amaechi to limelight, sustains him there and stands him out above his peers is an unusual demonstration of determination.

“His undying quest for a Law degree, in time past, was sacrificed severally on the altar of public service for more than a decade.

“I am excited that he didn’t give up on his educational ambition but rather pursued it to a successful end.

“Also, his choice of a degree in Law will definitely impact positively on humanity as a result of his avowed hatred for superciliousness and abhorrence of injustice.

“I haven’t forgotten how Amaechi, during his heydays as governor, spearheaded the educational renaissance in Rivers State, with lofty policies that balanced the inequality between the children of the rich and poor.

“On this new feather in his cap, I rejoice with him and encourage other students in public life, to emulate his courage and power of focus. Indeed, with fierce determination, delays will not end up denials,” Okumgba said.
