TONYE COLE SAYS HE WILL BUILD BRIDGES CONNECTING EMOHUA AND KALABARI COMMUNITIES TO PORT HARCOURT.
The 2023 APC Guber candidate in Rivers State, Arch Tonye Cole mni has promised the people of Emohua that his government will construct highways and bridges linking Emohua, Kalabari communities to the state capital to boost economic growth of the area.
Pastor Tonye Cole also said his administration, when elected, will create jobs through youth empowerment programs, scholarships to Rivers students and the reintroduction of the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency, RSSDA.
Tonye Cole made the promises while speaking to a massive crowd of supporters during the official flag-off of the Emohua Local Government Area APC election campaigns at Elele Alimini.
“On infrastructure, our government shall connect Emohua to the oceanic Areas of kalabari Kingdom. We will build bridge connecting Emohua to kalabari, and this bridges will pass through Ogbakiri to Ikukiri, ikukuri to Rumuolumeni down to Tombia, and this infrastructure will ease transportation of goods and services”
“On job creation and employment, we will train our children oversea and here in Nigeria to learn skills under the moribund RSSDA, and after training them, we will give them a guaranteed take off capital to establish themselves”.
“About ten thousand of them will key into this program, and these 10 thousand youths will also employ at least 5 youths in their establishment, that means we have taken off 50,000 youths off the street, and this we must do because I am for you”.
The Rivers APC governorship candidate expressed joy over today’s court of appeal victory, noting that the appellate court decision which coincided with his visit to Emohua, was a sign of blessings to the people.
“The victory of appeal court heralded through the nooks and crannies of Emohua kingdom as the autochthonous people accross political parties came out in their thousands to behold the Victorious man who emanated from the unanimous Judgement of the justices of the appellate court today”
Tonye Cole thanked the good people of Emohua, covenanted with them, adding that he will bring back Agricultural revolution in Emohua land, give scholarships to their children and jobs for their youths through skill acquisition program under the RSSDA.
He pledged not to steal from public funds, assuring that God has blessed him richly so much so that he will be satisfied. Cole added that his only desire, rather than stealing public resources, will be to deliver a government that will share in the pains and happiness of the people.
“My people, your pain is my pain, your joy is your joy, your pain cannot sweet me, I have seen money, I have made a lot of money, my sweat has given me all the money I need and so I have no reason to steal from you. I see our mothers suffering, we will revive the Agricultural sector, we will make Agriculture easy for them”.
“These we must do as a responsible government, and we will uphold our campaign promises and we know that with your votes, all these will manifest”, Cole concluded.
