OGU/BOLO APC RALLY A FORMIDABLE FORCE
The APC campaign team came and conquered OGU/BOLO as the people triumphantly welcomed the train. The both axes of OGU and BOLO matched round the place chanting songs of victory. For them, the appeal court ruling has restored hope to a man who has the mantra to transform the state in economic, education, health, and other social amenities.
An unbreakable team welcomed the state campaign team, Chiefs gave their blessings and youths came in their numbers to give their indefatigable supports. The local government party chairman promised that they will surely win despite the threat from the PDP.
Dr Ndubuisi Nwankwo, JP. took turn to thank the people that they have done well. That they will feature majorly in his legislative and oversight functions.
He also promised that he will strive to amend the various regulations that affects the riverine settlements and promote a bill that will amend the following a. Sea Fisheries (Licensing) Regulations (1971); b. Sea Fisheries (Fishing) Regulations (1972);
c. Inland Sea Fisheries Decree (1992);
d. Water Resources Decree (1993) etc.
He contend that the new bill shall amongst all else provide for a lucrative aquaculture;
and make provision for a special agency called ARTISANAL FISHERIES DEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
