SIM FUBARA AND ALLWELL ONYESOH ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ESSAYS
The Technical Committee of the Etche LGA GDI Essay Writing Competition proudly sponsored by the Etche GDI Coordinator, Hon. Iheanyichukwu Iroegbu aka Paparazzi wishes to notify the general public of the extension of deadline for submission of their essays.
The deadline for submission of essays has been extended to February 1, 2023. The extension is as a result of thousands of entries submitted across Rivers State, and more than five hundred persons have declared fresh interest in the competition. The extension will enable everyone participate.
The themes for the ongoing essay writing competition are: “SIM FUBARA AND THE NEED TO CONSOLIDATE ON THE NEW RIVERS VISION” and “CHIEF ALLWELL ONYESOH: THE MAN FOR RIVERS EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT”. These are two different topics and should be written separately.
All participants are advised to take note of this clarification as failure to adhere to any of the guidelines will lead to outright disqualification.
Participants are to post their essays on their various social media handles and forward the same to the office of the Special Adviser to the GDI Coordinator on Strategy and Documentation, Hon. Eche Ndubuisi via WhatsApp number 08165198930, for assessment.
The winner of the competition goes home with the sum of five million naira (#5,000,000.00)
The essay writing competition provides an opportunity for young Rivers indigenes and residents to share their thoughts, ideas and experiences on key issues of governance.
