“It is not acceptable that politicians come to you during campaigns to tell you all kinds of good stories, then at the end of their administration, they start coming up with excuses.

“One mistake you keep making is that you continue to give listening ears to those set of politicians who disappointed you when they were in power. That should stop henceforth.

“I have recognised and upgraded more traditional stools in Ekpeye Kingdom more than any local government area in Rivers State. I brought university campus to Ahoada, I have constructed several roads here, including the one that was abandoned by the immediate past administration. Several school projects have been undertaken by my administration in Ahoada East,” the Governor said.

On his part, the former Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Prince Chibudom Nwuche maintained that no Ekpeye man or woman has any reason not to support the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party because Governor Wike has done so well for the kingdom.

“Our people had not gotten anything near what we have gotten under your administration. You have done so well for us, the projects here are too numerous to mention. No Ekpeye man or woman has any reason not to support the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state,” he said.
