The University of Port Teaching Hospital has finally produced a Director of Physiotherapy Services – a first of its kind in the 43years existence of the hospital.
Director Imeh Mathias Ubom, promoted from Deputy Director to a Director after several attempts, is the first ever Director of Physiotherapy Services in UPTH and arguably any federal tertiary hospital in the South South region.
Director Ubom, who was congratulated by members of staff of Physiotherapy Department today, expressed his gratitude to the Chief Medical Director, Prof Henry Ugboma, the CMAC, the DA and the hospital management board at large for finding him worthy of such exalted position.
Congratulations to Physiotherapy Department, congratulations to UPTH for the record breaking feather added to the hospital.
